Lawrence Ho was appointed as the executive director of Melco Crown Entertainment on December 20, 2004, served as co-chairman and chief executive officer since December 2004, and was re-designated as chairman and chief executive officer since May 2016. Since November 2001, Mr. Ho has also served as the managing director and, since March 2006, the chairman and chief executive officer of Melco International Development Limited. Mr. Ho has also been appointed as the chairman and non-executive director of Summit Ascent Holdings Limited, a company listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, since July 10, 2013.

Given the increasing levels of concern caused by the novel coronavirus, we will cancel this year’s ASEAN Forum which was scheduled to take place in Bangkok from March 11-13. Obvious risks around assemblies of large numbers of people within a small space and travel restrictions put in place over the past week by a large number of our institutional investor clients were important considerations.
